Horticulture Volunteers and Partners

volunteerWe rely on the assistance of talented and knowledgeable volunteers and partners to keep the Zoo in bloom.

Volunteers

Virginia Cooperative Extension - Norfolk Office - provides horticultural support and information. offices.ext.vt.edu

Norfolk Master Gardeners http://www.nmgv.org/  and Virginia Beach Master Gardeners http://www.vbmg.org/  utilize their “green thumbs” to tend the Virginia Barnyard Garden, the African Village Gardens and Rain Garden.
