Scout Programs at the Zoo Scout leaders, are you looking for an exciting way to help your boys fulfill their requirements for pins or badges? If so, the Zoo is the place to be! We offer Day programs or sleep-overs designed to enrich the children's learning experience through activities and meeting live animals up close! Scout Day Programs / Scout Snoozes Cub Scout Day Program Come earn your Wildlife Conservation Belt loop and Academics Pin while spending the day at the Zoo! Boys will learn about natural resources and why it is important to protect them, delve into the food chain by visiting with some of our education animals, take a tour of the zoo and help with a service project here on our waterfront. This program can be tailored to Tigers, Wolves, Bears or Webelos

you are the first troop to book a date:
AM program is held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
**If you plan to add extra people, please contact us at least seven business days before your program. We will accommodate you depending on space availability. Groups will be combined until all spaces are filled. Scouts are booked by level. Reservations are not made until full payment is received. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Should you decided to cancel, you will receive 80% of your program fee, with a seven business day notification. Refunds will not be given later than that date.** Cub Scout SnoozesDo you want a unique way to introduce your scouts to the world of nature? Join us at the Zoo for a night of fun as we help your boys earn their Naturalist Activity badge. Your zoo itinerary will include a live animal presentation, a flashlight tour of the zoo, a visit with the animals behind-the-scenes, wildlife games, and making a craft. A light breakfast is provided in the morning. Snoozes are held indoors in our Education Center. They are available November-June and held on available Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations:
Please bring appropriate clothing for the weather, nutritional snacks and drinks, sleeping bag, and flashlight. Participants must have dinner prior to the start of the program. Dinner and Snacks are not provided, however, your breakfast is provided in the morning. |
