Zoo Tales

Family Story Time for all ages.

Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

 

What's better than a tall tale? A Zoo Tale! Gather the kids for a fun story, and a chance to meet an animal from the book!

 

April Titles:

Kritter Kids

For children ages 4-5
Thursday, April 24, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Members:  $14/Non-members:  $18

Children, ages 4 and 5, and their parents are invited to join us for crafts, songs, stories and an up close animal encounter.  Registration is required.


Zoosplorers

 

For children ages 6-8 (parents may drop off)

From 10:00 a.m.– 11:30 am

You haven't heard about zoosploring? It's the coolest new way to explore the Zoo! Enjoy hands on investigations, animal encounters, making a fun craft and so much more! This month's topic is Animal Trackers in My Zoo. Learn how to identify animal tracks and look for some around the Zoo. Come explore with us, and meet some of those animals!

 


Wild Adventures

 

This wild family adventure is for adults and children, ages 6-12.

Sunday, April 27

From 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 pm

 

Members: $25.00 per family (up to 3 children)/ Non-members: Non-members: $30.00 per family (up to 3 children)

 

Looking for a new way to have a wild time with the family? Come to the Zoo for a Wild Adventure! Enjoy a guided tour of part of the zoo, meet some live animals, and so much more! This month's topic is Animal Rehab.  We know where to go when we're hurt, but what about the animals? Usually wild animals can take care of themselves, but sometimes they depend on humans to intervene. Come learn about the special people who rehabilitate wildlife, and meet some rehabilitated animals here at the Zoo.

Would you like to have the Zoo almost all to yourself? Would you like an experienced Educator for your guided tour through parts of the Zoo? Would you like to get up close and personal with some of the animals? Then take a stroll with us. Each month will feature a different zoo theme and activities.
