Partnerships in the Community:

Virginia Zoological Park is committed to working with people with disabilities.

• Tannner's Creek Garden Center: Individuals with disabilities learn basic horticulture skills in a supportive environment in their own facility on the grounds of the zoo (Eggleston Services Partnership).
• Animal Enrichment Garden - Individuals with disabilities grow fresh vegetables for the zoo' animal collection (Norforlk Theraputic Recreation Center Partnership).

• Master Gardeners - Volunteers trained in horticulture work in the theme gardens throughout the zoo and provide educational information to visitors. vmga.net
