Virginia Zoo hosts Job Fair
for seasonal employees

Key areas needed: Retail, Food Service, and Membership Sales

February 6, 2010 from 10a.m. until 3p.m. in the Education Classroom

Virginia Zoo is looking for friendly and energetic people who are interested in working for a good cause. 

Positions require employees must be at least 16 years old.  Seasonal and part-time positions are available in retail, food service and membership sales.  Weekend and holiday hours are required, some positions may require evenings during Zoo special events.

To attend Virginia Zoo’s job fair, visit the Zoo Education Classroom located to the right of the Zoo’s front entrance.  First round interviews may be conducted onsite for seasonal positions in retail and food service.  Applicants interested in the membership position are encouraged to bring a resume with them.  All interested applicants will be asked to fill out an application and complete a background check. Some staff hired will begin employment immediately; others may start work on staggered schedules, as required.
