Directions

The Virginia Zoo is located at 3500 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23504 (adjacent to Lafayette Park).

From Rt. 64/Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (Peninsula)

• Exit Granby Street (Route 460) and proceed for approximately five miles
• The Zoo is located on the left after Lafayette Park.

From Rt. 44/I-264 West (Virginia Beach)

• Take I-264 West to downtown Norfolk.
• Exit City Hall Avenue, turn right at the first light onto St. Paul's Boulevard
• Follow St. Paul's Boulevard approximately 3 miles (St. Paul's Boulevard merges into Monticello Avenue).
• At the end of Monticello Avenue, turn left onto Granby Street.
• The Zoo is located on the right after St. Mary's Cemetery.

From Midtown Tunnel (Portsmouth)

• Exit onto Hampton Boulevard
• Turn right on Princess Anne Road.
• Turn left on Monticello Avenue.
• Turn left at T-intersection onto Granby Street.
• The Zoo is located on the right after St. Mary's Cemetery.

From Downtown Tunnel/Rt. 464 (Portsmouth/Chesapeake)

• Exit Waterside Drive and turn right at St. Paul's Boulevard.
• St. Paul’s Boulevard merges into Monticello Avenue.
• Turn left on Granby Street.
• The Zoo is located on the right after St. Mary's Cemetery.
