Classes

•  Friday, March 21 - Follow The Clues
The world is full of mysteries, and scientists use many different ways to figure them out. Solve some cases here at the Zoo and learn to investigate some of the animals around you.

•  Monday, March 24 - Heritage Breeds?
Animals are not getting scarce just in some wild places—special kinds of sheep, goats, pigs, chickens and other familiar animals are getting scarce too. Come meet resident ambassadors at these vanishing breeds at the Zoo.

•  Tuesday, March 25 - Animal Orchestra
Join us as we open up our ears to hear the orchestra at the Zoo. We will look into the sounds of the animals and listen to the ways animals communicate.

•  Wednesday, March 26 - Out of Sight or Loud and Bright
Get ready for whirlwind adventure discovering how some animals camouflage and others stand out. Learn how the best disguised animals survive even the sneakiest predators and how flashy animals can scare away even the bravest of predators.

•  Thursday, March 27 -- Wild Homes and Zoo Homes
Whether up in the air or below the ground, animal homes can be found just about anywhere and can be made of just about anything. Come along as we visit some of our Zoo's animal residences and discover some of the interesting places they call home.

•  Friday, March 28 – Ickyology
Enjoy the “yuck” side of animal science during this quest into the queasy. Campers will dissect owl pellets and learn about disgusting animal habits. This is the gross-out class of all times!
